Copper Club

The Copper Club - a loyalty scheme set up by the UK Copper Board in May 2000 to reward supporters of Copper – is proving a great success. We currently have over 2300 members, including a substantial number of students, and the number of members is continuing to rise!

When signing up to the Copper Club via the application form on this website new members will receive a welcome pack which includes the latest copy of our reference book 'Installation Tips', a 'Make the Right Start CD' and details of our Plumbing Advice Telephone Hotline.

In addition to the pack, members receive regular updates about the industry and the activities of the UK Copper Board.

Mr Spetch from Bodmin in Cornwall is a new Copper Club member. He has been a qualified plumber for the last seven years, following careers in engineering and farming: “I am a bit of a perfectionist, a bit old fashioned. I enjoy working with copper and wanted to obtain some tips to improve my technique. I was delighted with my copy of Installation Tips, which confirms my current practice. It is useful in providing information such as the gaps between joints and fluxing on one side rather than the other.”

Mr. Gibbons from Exeter in Devon found out about the Copper Club from a leaflet in his local plumbing merchant. He thought it would be a great opportunity to receive the free information provided through membership, and has since recommended membership to his son: “My son is currently qualifying to become a pipe fitter, and I knew Installation Tips would be a useful ideal reference book during his training.”
