UK Copper Board Rewards Top Trainers open pdf
Copper pipework skills were clearly on show at the national final of the 2010 SkillPLUMB competition, which took place at the beginning of October.  The competition, which showcases the talents of Britain’s best young plumbers, tested the copper skills of the ten students to the limits, at the end of which Lee Patrick, Shane Trevitt and Thomas Smith were judged first, second and third respectively.

New Plumbing Wallcharts on Bending Copper Tube open pdf
Plumbing colleges are invited to take advantage of a new resource from the UK Copper Board: a set of two wallcharts that describe in simple terms how to set out and make bends with copper tube.  The new resources have been extremely well received, with plumbing lecturers already requesting extra copies.

Capillary and Compression Jointing and Pipe Sizing Resources open pdf
The UK Copper Board has produced three new webcasts aimed at providing easy-to-digest training for installers and student plumbers. Two describe the jointing of copper tube using capillary and compression fittings.
