1.3.2010	UK Copper Board Launches Specifier's Guide to Pipework Services at Ecobuild Copper Pipework Services in Modern Buildings – A Specifier’s Guide is a new publication from the UK Copper Board that explains the many reasons for selecting copper tube and fittings for building services. The publication, launched at the Ecobuild show, details the excellent performance characteristics of copper, the durability and reliability of pipework in service and how copper is recycled and its environmental impact assessed.
14.1.2010	UK Copper Board at Ecobuild The UK Copper Board will be exhibiting at the 2010 Ecobuild event, to be held at Earls Court, London from 2nd to 4th March. Ecobuild is the world’s biggest event for sustainable design, construction and the built environment, and the UK Copper Board will be providing information on the contribution that copper makes to sustainable construction.
14.9.2009	Copper Plumbing Wallcharts for College Workshops and Classrooms Responding to demand from plumbing lecturers, the UK Copper Board has produced a new copper plumbing wallchart detailing essential information on copper tube and fittings, specially designed to meet the needs of modern plumbing students.
25.8.2009	New Research is a Breath of Fresh Air for Heating and Air Conditioning Units New research is under way to investigate how copper can combat the bacteria and fungi that cause foul odours and reduced efficiency in HVAC units where the damp and dark environment is the perfect breeding ground for germs.
28.1.2009	Capillary and Compression Jointing and Pipe Sizing Resources The UK Copper Board has produced three new webcasts aimed at providing easy-to-digest training for installers and student plumbers. Two describe the jointing of copper tube using capillary and compression fittings. They take a step-by-step approach, explaining the do’s and don’ts, as well as featuring video clips showing jointing in action.

Specifiers selecting materials for the construction of the Beijing National Stadium, also known as the Bird's Nest, chose copper for both its domestic cold water and hot water plumbing systems.
